In Pittsburgh, Kirk (Jay Baruchel) works for TSA, which screens passengers at American airports. When Molly (Alice Eve), a good-looking and poised air traveler, forgets her phone, Kirk returns it to her. This leads to dating, even though he is not especially physically attractive and has no discernable talent. Kirk's c-oworkers keep telling him his relationship with Molly has no chance of success, and romantic complications arise.
