Emily Mortimer signs up for Hugo Cabret
Emily Mortimer and Michael Stuhlbarg are the latest stars to sign up to 'Hugo Cabret'.
The actress and the actor will join the likes of Sacha Baron Cohen, Jude Law, Christopher Lee, Sir Ben Kingsley and Ray Winstone in Martin Scorsese's 3-D family adventure, which is an adaptation of Brian Selznick's best-selling book 'The Invention of Hugo Cabret'.
The film centres on an orphan boy called Hugo, who is living a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station.
He then meets and eccentric girl and a cold and reserved man, who runs a toy shop - he is then caught up in a magical and mysterious adventure.
Mortimer will play the station's flower shop girl, Lisette, while Stuhlbarg will take on the role of film restorer Rene Tabard, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision Blog.
The movie is currently in production in London and is being produced by Scorsese, Graham King, Tim Headington and Johnny Depp.
This is not the first time Mortimer has worked with Scorsese; she appeared in his recent Leonardo DiCaprio-led film 'Shutter Island'.
