Sigourney Weaver too old for Alien movie?
Sigourney Weaver would do another 'Alien' movie.
The 60-year-old actress says she would be happy to reprise her role as Ellen Ripley but admits Fox - the studio behind the 'Alien' franchise - might not be so keen because of her age.
She told moviefone: "I could definitely kick that alien's ass again. While I can't speak for them, I think for Fox, once you're 60, you're not going to be starring in an action movie.
"I think it's too bad that that's the case. I would have liked to do one last story where we go back to the planet, where Ripley's history is resolved. But I do feel like her story is unfinished."
Although Sigourney - whose character was killed off in 'Alien 3', but was brought back to life for the fourth instalment in 'Alien Resurrection' - is not in the 'Alien' prequel, she recently revealed she is "glad" Ridley Scott is directing it.
She said: "I'm glad it's in his hands. I always said if you're going to do another one, go back to the planet where they came from so I certainly think it's a great idea.
"I'll be excited to see it. I think he's an amazing director and I always felt very incomplete because we didn't know where they came from and so we're going to find out I hope."
