David Arquette for Hemlock Drive?
David Arquette is being lined up to star in his sister Patricia Arquette's narrative feature directorial debut.
The 'True Romance' actress - who has previously helmed the documentaries 'Searching for Debra Winger' and 'All We Are Saying' is hoping to cast her brother along with Susan Sarandon and Adam Brody for the dramatic comedy 'Hemlock Drive' which tells the story of an eccentric mother in Connecticut, America, who calls her three grown-up children home for a weekend after she discovers she is dying.
Susan is in talks to play the mother with Adam as her son, while David could take on the role of a local bar owner named Murphy.
Producer Kristin Holt told The Wrap: "She tries to bond the family before she dies, and she makes them throw her a living funeral. It's a very funny dramedy."
David is currently starring with his estranged wife Courteney Cox in horror sequel 'Scream 4'.
The pair met on the set of the original 'Scream' movie in 1996 and have reprised their roles of Deputy Dewey Riley and TV reporter Gale Weathers for the new movie.
'Hemlock Drive' will begin shooting in Louisiana in September.
