So that fans of the genre can find some of the best recent horror movie releases for your entertainment purposes, we offer this updated list of horror movies that features some the best DVD and Blu-ray movies released during the current year according to this site’s horror reviews of movies. The list is in alphabetical order by title and includes thriller movies with a scary or horror tone.

This list of horrors is updated regularly with new additions. The year’s list of current horror movies will change over in January with the new year’s list of horror movies started. If you have any suggestions on movies that have been released on DVD or Blu-ray on or after January 1st of the current year, feel free to let us know. Only movies in horror genres that have been reviewed on Movie Room Reviews are included in this list. Each film includes a link to the DVD or Blu-ray review.
