"Transformers: Age of Extinction" arrives in theaters on Friday, June 27. Michael Bay directs the action film, which sees a dark future for Autobots. Ever since the government deemed the Autobots enemies, the robots have gone into hiding. When an auto mechanic stumbles across Optimus Prime, he unwittingly steps into the middle of an epic battle between the Autobots and the human-made Decepticons sent to destroy them. The film's PG-13 rating is due to language, brief innuendo and sci-fi action and violence.

"Begin Again" arrives in limited theaters on June 27. Gretta's singing career is as stuck as her romantic life. Left behind by a boyfriend who made it big, Gretta continues to seek an audience in New York City. When the unlucky singer meets an exec who's thrown his career away, they decide to join forces to redeem themselves. "Begin Again" has an R rating for language. John Carney directs.

"Snowpiercer" is director Bong Joon-ho's dystopian thriller. After the earth becomes an uninhabitable landscape, humanity manages to hold on by existing inside a perpetually moving train. Life inside the train is strictly regimented, leaving some survivors thirsting for a revolution. Those on the lowest social rung may claw their way to the top. "Snowpiercer" has an R rating for violence, language and drug content.

"They Came Together" is David Wain's razor sharp parody of romantic comedies. Bigwig Joel and eccentric Molly may not like each other at first, but they soon realize their many similarities. Their dreamy love story takes a sour turn, though, and the pair will have to muddle their way through the little problems life sends their way. The R rating is due to mature content and language.

Continuing Films

"Think Like a Man Too" is Tim Story's energetic sequel to "Think Like a Man." The women and the guys divide up to take on Las Vegas during a wedding weekend, but simmering problems and new complications will keep all the friends on their toes. While some couples field the difficulties of long-term marriage, others have the newlywed blues. The PG-13 rating is due to crude mature content that includes references, language, drug material and partial nudity.

In "22 Jump Street," Jenko and Schmidt go undercover and head to the local dorms to trace a dangerous drug that's been making the rounds. As they try to get to the bottom of the problem, the two will have to deal with one of their toughest challenges yet: growing apart from each other. The R rating is due to language, mature content, violence, brief nudity and drug material. Christopher Miller and Phil Lord direct.

"How to Train Your Dragon 2" features the voice of Jay Baruchel as Hiccup. A sinister man named Drago Bludvist has been gathering forces, preparing to unleash a plan that endangers dragons and humans alike. Before he can taste victory, though, Drago will face off against Hiccup and Toothless, the duo who make up for in nerve what they lack in brawn. The PG rating is due to mild rude humor and adventure action. Dean DeBlois directs.

"Jersey Boys" follows the wild journey of The Four Seasons, from their beginnings as reckless, restless young men in New Jersey to their triumphant break into the music scene. Frankie's striking falsetto singing voice earns the group major attention, but fame isn't always the easy destination the musicians assumed it would be. "Jersey Boys" has an R rating for language. Clint Eastwood directs.

"Maleficent" is the Disney adaptation of an iconic tale, putting a fresh twist on a long misunderstood villain. With her wings, fairy Maleficent guards and protects her realm, which borders the corrupt human kingdom. A young thief steals Maleficent's heart, leading to an act of betrayal that could hurt everyone involved. The PG rating is for frightening images and sequences of fantasy action and violence. Robert Stromberg directs.

"Edge of Tomorrow" stars Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt as two soldiers caught in a time loop during a battle with alien invaders. As the events of the combat scenario repeat and the warriors hone their strategy, the drawback begins to look more like a tactical advantage. But their plan will require some big risks. "Edge of Tomorrow" has a PG-13 rating for language, brief suggestive material and intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence. Doug Liman directs.

"The Fault in Our Stars" is Josh Boone's adaptation of John Green's novel. Throughout her fight with cancer, Hazel has relied on one eccentric novel to find solace. If she could talk to the book's author in Amsterdam, she could set her mind at ease about life's big questions. It will take a whirlwind romance to get her to Amsterdam. The PG-13 rating is for mature content, brief strong language and thematic elements.
