The creative kid-friendly types at Big Idea have produced yet another great tale featuring Larry “The Cucumber” and Bob “The Tomato” in Veggie Tales: Abe and the Amazing Promise. Part of a new marketing program called Values to Grow By, Abe and the Amazing Promise is available on DVD February 7th.
Bob finds his patience tested while he brings the Bible story of Abraham and Sarah to life thanks to some spitting camels and the zany French peas, a popular comic relief team in the Veggie Tales series.
The lesson in patience features the voice of nationally syndicated radio host Delilah as the voice of Sarah. Of course, the recurring Silly Songs is included in the DVD as Larry presents a new song entitled “Sneeze if You Need to!”
Veggie Tales films are among the most positive and uplifting entertainment products on the market for kids. The stories are full of great practical lessons and fun, lovable characters that kids can appreciate. Veggie Tales; Abe and the Amazing Promise brings one of the Bible’s best stories to life and teaches kids the valuable, but hard to understand, skill of patience.
