Tim Tebow’s Super Bowl Commercial has aired after much hype. The ad was a bit low key compared to the hard sell that many had built up in protesting CBS’s decision to air the commercial. In the ad, the former Heisman Trophy winner Tebow tackles his mother. The Tebow ad has drawn much ire from various political groups and organizations because of its pro-life message. Tim Tebow has shared the story of thankfulness for his mother’s decision to not abort him as she was encouraged to do by doctors during her pregnancy with him. In the Tebow ad, Tim’s mother Pam Tebow is tackled by her son and then the two engage in a gentle conversation. Tebow just graduated from the University of Florida as one of the most celebrated college football players of all time. His draft status is up for debate as some analysts question his potential for successful as an NFL quarterback. One thing that is not questioned is Tebow’s strong faith as evidenced by his various charitable activities and interests and his willingness to share his opinion and participate in an ad considered controversial by some.
