James McAvoy yet to read new X-Men script
James McAvoy still hasn't read the script for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'.
The Scottish actor is set to reprise his role as a young Professor Charles Xavier in the Marvel franchise, but has been so busy promoting his current films, 'Welcome to the Punch' and Danny Boyle's 'Trance' as well as starring in London's West End production of 'Macbeth', he has yet to take a peek at the highly anticipated story.
He revealed to Getty Images Entertainment: ''The 'X-Men' script? It's in my inbox ... I've still got to read it. I'm very excited about it but I've just been doing so much of this [interviews] and working at night [in 'Macbeth'] so I'm starting work at 9 and don't finish until midnight so I'm not being flippant.
''I honestly can't wait to read it and find out what I'm doing but I've just got no time right now.''
James, 33, has also been rumoured to star in a remake of 1994 horror film 'The Crow', to be directed by F. Javier Gutierrez.
However, the screen star denied the speculations and insists nothing has been confirmed yet.
When asked about his involvement in the project, James replied: ''It's not for real. I don't think it's materialized into anything truthful yet ... it's just been rumour mill stuff.''
