Zachary Quinto: 'Star Trek 2 on the horizon'
Zachary Quinto has confirmed 'Star Trek 2' is "on the horizon".
The 'What's Your Number?' actor - who earlier this week confirmed he was gay - will be reprising the role of Vulcan character Spock in the sequel to the 2009 film soon, but admits he has yet to read a script meaning he does not know what to expect.
He said: "'Star Trek 2' is on the imminent horizon. I go back to Los Angeles after this trip and I start to prep for it. We get going in the beginning of the year, so everybody is gearing up. I haven't read the script yet so it's good, I can't actually tell you anything. I'm not torn or tempted to spill any secrets because I have no idea."
J.J. Abrams was recently confirmed to be returning to the movie, with a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Damon Lindelof and Roberto Orci.
All of the film's main stars are also set to return, with Chris Pine reprising his role as Captain Kirk alongside Zoe Saldana as Uhura and Simon Pegg as Scotty.
The film was initially expected to be released in summer 2012, but is now pushed back to at least December of the same year.
